检方当庭提请从轻处罚 辩护律师称刘志军并无立功表现(视频)
"http://player.cntv.cn/standard/cntvOutSidePlayer.swf6月9日上午，原铁道部部长、党组书记刘志军涉嫌受贿、滥用职权一案在北京市第二中级人民法院开庭审理。检方指控刘志军涉嫌受贿罪、滥用职权罪，并认为其涉案金额为人民币6460.54万元。刘志军对两项罪名表示无异议，但其两位辩护律师对涉案金额中的4900万元提出质疑，认为不属于受贿。整个庭审过程中，刘志军一直都是站着受审。其辩护律师娄秋琴称，刘志军因为身体原因不愿意坐着接受审判。刘志军在庭审中作了近10分钟的辩护陈述，陈述中几度流泪。法庭最后宣布此案将择期宣判。
Former railways minister, Liu Zhijun, has stood trial in the Beijing No. 2 Intermediate People’s Court. Liu was charged with corruption and abuse of power in April.
Liu is also the former Party chief of the now defunct Railways Ministry. He was dismissed from his post for serious disciplinary violations in February 2011. He was stripped of his Party membership last year when the CPC Central Commission for Disciplinary Inspection found him guilty of corruption.
