But Lorenzo the Magnificent, in the tradition of Italian Godfathers, was not a man to take no for an answer. And so it was that Damiano's house became the scene of an extraordinary art crime. When Damiano was away, Lorenzo had a group of workmen pay a visit to his home. They were headed by Lorenzo's personal carpenter, Francione Big Frank.
