老节目晚节不保，新闻界丑闻频发
近日，BBC的王牌调查节目《新闻之夜》陷入性侵事件和失实报道的双重丑闻，导致上任不满两月的BBC总裁引咎辞职。Hints：

The British Home Secretary Theresa May said he was right to go.
"Well I think it was the right decision that George Entwistle took last night to resign. I think it is a serious issue. I think there is a question of trust and credibility and rebuilding some trust and credibility into the BBC. It's a renowned national institution but also it has a worldwide brand as well."
So why has he gone? Well it follows a report nine days ago on BBC television's flagship current affairs programme Newsnight which implicated a former senior Conservative Party official in a paedophile scandal dating back to the 1970s. Lord McAlpine wasn't actually named in the programme, but his identity quickly emerged on social media. The trouble is the report was wrong. The victim who'd identified him to Newsnight admitted he'd made a mistake.
