After reaching out to political activists, members of civil society and others to serve in administrative posts, 31 officials were named head ministries under interim President Dioncounda Traore and Prime Minister Cheick Modibo Diarra.
The diverse group is largely representative of Mali's political parties, which should have a calming effect on the nation's roiled politics. Restoring a democratic government is essential to addressing the Traore rebellion and the spread extremism in the North.
The United States welcomes the formation of the new government after a broad-based consultation toward political parties and civil society. We look forward to this new-unity government continued to work to move swiftly toward whole elections, restoring democratic rule and better enabling Mali to meet their other challenges it is facing.马里临时领导人仍在为让西非国家脱离军事管理这个新政府内阁议会而奋斗。继一些政治积极分子、民权社会成员等担任政管职位后，临时大总统Dioncounda Traore和首相Cheick Modibo Diarra又任命了31名官员为高层领导人。
