Well, that goal earned the Czech Republic a 1-0 win over Poland in Wroclaw, sending the Czechs into the last eight. The BBC's John Murray was watching.
"So what had turned around for the Czech Republic? Losing 4-1 to Russia in their first match, yet winning the group. And what disappointment for the co-host, going from the high of their comeback draw against Russia, to going out at the hands of another of their neighbours, and yet in the first half, everything had been so positive for the Poles. Lewandowski should have given them an early lead but shot wide. It seemed only a matter of time before they would score.
