After their Oval Office meeting, Mr. Obama and Mr. Cameron laid out their plans to move the NATO alliance's mission in Afghanistan toward an advisory role in 2013 while Afghan forces gradually take the lead. But the president told reporters there are no plans to speed up the withdrawal.
"I don't anticipate at this stage that we're gonna be making any sudden, additional changes to the plan that we currently have."
Prime Minister Cameron said progress is being made in Afghanistan.
"There are many challenges we have to overcome, but what's happening in Afghanistan today is quite different to the situation we had three, four, five years ago."
