And as been widely expected, Kevin Pietersen has been left out. The batsman was dropped from the England side after sending what have been described as provocative messages to the South African players during the recent Test series. So what does this mean for Pietersen's England career? Here's correspondent Jonathan Agnew.
"I think a lot of it comes down to him, actually. He was on my flight out here. He's said to me he felt as good as gold, was his quotes. But he has a choice, and he either has to go in with England, play for the IPL and Twenty20 when he's available. And at the moment he has no England contract at all, so he could play all of that stuff in Australia and Bangladesh, in India as well should he choose to do so. However, if he wants to really get back into the England team, he'll also show commitment to England. He'll have to cut his IPL short, get some county cricket played at the start of next summer and make himself fully available and in-form at least for the Ashes contest which is a huge summer next year."

另外，皮特森还发布了一条声明表示，他大费周章以期与主管部门达成和解后，对英格兰和威尔士板球委员会（ECB）的决定感到很失望。
