Our company made good money this year so our New Year's party was the best wing-ding. There was plenty to eat and drink and most of us stayed later than we ever had before.
More than 100 people came to the bash we gave for Johnny when he left for the college in California. Johnny had such a good time that he almost missed his plane.
Sure, I'm tired but it was worth it, a fantastic blast, at least until the police came and made us turn down the music because people could hear us two blocks away.
1: Sally's wedding reception was a real blow-out. More than three hundred guests, the best food and drink, a big orchestra for dancing, it must have cost her father much money.

2: Our company made good money this year so our New Year's party was the best wing-ding. There was plenty to eat and drink and most of us stayed later than we ever had before.

3: More than 100 people came to the bash we gave for Johnny when he left for the college in California. Johnny had such a good time that he almost missed his plane.

4: Sure, I'm tired but it was worth it, a fantastic blast, at least until the police came and made us turn down the music because people could hear us two blocks away.
