Louise Hidalgo reports.
It's the beginning of June, 1977, and Britain is preparing to celebrate 25 years of Queen Elizabeth on the throne. Across England, bunting has been hung, street parties have been organised and thousands are camping out on the streets of London to catch a glimpse of the royal family. But not all is well in Queen Elizabeth's Britain.
The 70s were a time of strikes and power cuts and youth unemployment. So when a new type of music, punk rock - raw, confrontational, irreverent - burst onto the scene, it struck a chord among the young disaffected. And at the front of it all were the Sex Pistols.
It was a scream about the sort of the impotence of sort of kids in those days and I think that's the thing that resonated probably more than anything else, to be honest.现在正值英国庆祝伊丽莎白二世登基60年，而我们将带领大家回到1977年庆祝她登基25周年的时候。当时有个英国朋克摇滚组合，叫做“性手枪”。他们发布的一张专辑属于当时最具争议的专辑之一。路易斯·伊达尔戈报道。
