实用英语：火冒三丈
有没有遇到过脾气很不好的老板?如果你没有按时完成工作，他就会暴跳如雷呢?最近Mary可就遇到这样的问题了：
Mary's been always very slow in her work. Her boss has warned her several
times. Yesterday, when she again missed the deadline for a report, he hit the
ceiling and fired her on the spot.
玛丽的工作速度总是很慢。她的老板已经警告她好几次了。昨天，当她的老板听说她又没能在限期前写完一个报告，他火冒三丈，当时就解雇了她。
上面这句话里面的hit the ceiling就是“火冒三丈，暴跳如雷”的意思，怒气冲的都要到天花板了，看来真的是很生气哦。
