The annual foreigners Chinese Speech Contest was held in Changsha city this year. The game was proved to be a good way to improve the cultural exchange between China and other countries in the world . It had provided young people from all over the world with more opportunity to get to know China better. A total of 126 athletes who were from 87 countries gathered in Changsha city,the capital of Hunan province, and attended the semi-finals and the finals from July 6th to August 5th. The game is not the only activity. The players still have chances to visit the famous scenic spots and historical sites in other areas of China.

Chinese parents tend to focus too much on children's study, so they won’t ask their children to help them to do the housework. As we all known, talking and listening are commonly used in communication, but how can you talk without listening to others? Good conversation skills include much more than simply talking to others, listening is also a necessary quality of a successful person.
I firmly believe that listening is of greater significance than talking. For one thing, If you can not listen correctly, you can not talk properly. Just imagine a world where everyone keep talking but nobody listening, it's useless to say anything then. For another, if you want to make achievement in social settings, relationships and business, one way to ensure your success is to be a great listener.
Therefore, in order to enhance our conversation skills, here are a few simple rules we can follow to help us become a better listener, such as stopping talking endlessly, giving your full attention to the speaker and making an effort to shift the focus of the conversation to the other person. While ambition serves as the motivating and organizing force that keeps us going and guides us along our path, action enables us to transform our aspirations from a state of potentiality into reality.
To take action means to carry out an intention or execute a plan. Those who aspire to become successful athletes, for example, must be willing to spend long hours training and working out. Many people have dreams or aspiration, but not all of us are willing to commit the time and energy required to see our goals through to the finish line. People may fail to act on their ambitions for a variety of reasons, such as laziness, risk aversion or a lack of confidence. However, those who truly wish to succeed must overcome these barriers and learn to take action.
In a word, action speaks louder than words, for action enables us to implement our vision and “make things happen”.
