Researchers from the University of Nevada in the US may have found the perfect way to make a man attractive –ensure he has a pooch in tow.美国内华达大学研究人员可能已经发现使男性更有吸引力的最佳方式：确保他牵着一只汪星人。
They completed a study that looked at the role of pets in dating. A sample of 1,210 online daters, 61 per cent of whom were female, responded to a survey about what they look for in a prospective partner.他们完成了一项研究，旨在观察宠物在约会当中扮演的角色。1210名网上约会对象（其中61%为女性）为“他们希望潜在男（女）友有身上有什么特质”的调查做了反馈。

Despite this being news to some, others have argued that this has been public knowledge for a while.
