China is planning to invest up to $50bn (£32bn) in Brazil for new infrastructure projects.中国计划为巴西新的基础设施项目提供最多500亿美元的投资。
The deal is due to be signed by banks from both countries during a visit by Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang to Brazil next week.中国总理李克强将于下周访问巴西，双方银行将在访问期内签署这一协议。
The money will go towards building a railway link from Brazil's Atlantic coast to the Pacific coast of Peru to reduce the cost of exports to China.资金将投入连接巴西大西洋沿岸到秘鲁太平洋沿岸的铁道建设。这一工程能减少向中国出口商品所需的花费。
It says the fund will also finance a joint venture to produce steel.此外还将对一家生产钢铁的合资企业进行投资。

As well as the giant railway project, the money is expected to be invested in car parts, energy, ports, hydroelectric power and railways.除了上述的宏大铁路计划外，资金还将被用于汽车零件、能源、港口、水力发电和铁路。
