Hawk Roosting 鹰的栖息I sit in the top of the wood, my eyes closed.
Inaction, no falsifying dream
Between my hooked head and hooked feet:
Or in sleep rehearse perfect kills and eat.
我在树顶上小憩，合上双眼。
纹丝不动，没有虚假的梦想
浮现于我钩状的脑袋和钩状的爪子间
熟睡时也从不演练捕杀和生吞本领。
The convenience of the high trees!
The air’s buoyancy and the sum’s ray
Are of advantage to me;
And the earth’s face upward for my inspection.
高耸的树木给了我便利
空气的福浮力和太阳的光焰
都对我十分有利;
大地的脸蛋朝上，任我检阅。
