今年泼水节应不应该取消呢
The five provinces in the southwest China includingYunnan, Guizhou,Sichuan, Guangxi and Chongqing are suffering the severe drought due to the high
temperature and rainless weather during this spring, which also directly caused
the incredible long period of drought from last autumn to this spring in Yunnan
Province. It’s a disaster, and it is a once-in-a-century drought. However, as
the approaching of Songkran Festival, which is a traditional festival dated from
thousands of years ago, some people question that: can we sprinkle the priceless
water in drought days like these?
今春高温少雨天气，导致云南、贵州、四川、广西和重庆西南五省市持续严重干旱。其中云南秋、冬、春连旱，出现百年一遇旱情，大旱当前，西双版纳的泼水节又近在眼前了，比金子还贵的水能泼吗?于是，有人提出不过泼水节，但延续了上千年的传统节日，能因此就取消吗?
