实用口语：“新兴产业”的英文表达

to step up efforts to develop emerging industries of strategic importance。
我国政府本周三强调了逐步推进发展战略性新兴产业的重要性。
文中的emerging industries of strategic
importance就是指“战略性新兴产业”，emerging表示“新兴的”，类似的表达方式还有emerging market(新兴市场)、emerging
technology(新兴技术)。Emerging industry(新兴工业)也称为“朝阳产业”，因此也可以说成是sunrise industry。
另外，burgeoning也常用来形容“萌芽的、新兴的”，而start-up则指新企业或工程“开办阶段的，启动时期的”。
此次确定的七大行业分别为energy saving and environmental protection(节能环保)、 new
generation of information technology(新一代信息技术)、biology(生物产业)、 high-end equipment
manufacturing(高端装备制造)、 new energy(新能源)、 new material(新材料)、 new energy
vehicles(新能源汽车)。
