拼缀法(blending)是把两个词同时进行裁剪，或截头或去尾，或只裁剪两个词中的一个，保留另外一个。然后把两部分拼合在一起，构成一个新词。Blending is a process of word formaiton by combining parts of two words or a word plus a part of another word. 具体做法包括分为：词首+词尾，词首+词首，词首+单词，单词+词尾。拼缀法构词一般首先出现于报刊文章、科技文章利。用这种构词法创造的新词言简意丰，生动别致，符合现代人快节奏的甚或。必须承认，拼缀法(blending)是当代英语新词汇发展丰富的重要的构词方式之一。1. 词首+词尾 (head +tail)
